Chill Roller

The chill roller can be used in biaxially oriented film production lines (BOPP, BOPET...)

The main function is to rapidly solidify the molten plastic material into a film by rapidly cooling it. During the plastic extrusion process, the molten plastic needs to be cooled after flowing out of the extruder head to form a stable film. The chilled roller quickly absorbs the heat of the molten plastic through its internal cooling system, such as circulating cold water, to achieve rapid cooling.

MDO Stretching Roller
MDO Stretching Roller

Usually composed of two stretching rollers with the same structural size, such as the first stretching roller and the second stretching roller, which are fixed on the frame in an up-and-down staggered manner, driven to rotate by a motor, set in parallel and aligned on the left and right ends respectively. The roller surface is generally sprayed with a polytetrafluoroethylene coating to reduce the friction between the film and the roller surface and prevent the film from sticking.

MDO Nip Roller
MDO Nip Roller

This roller is mainly used for longitudinal stretching of biaxially stretched polypropylene film. Usually, multiple nip rollers are set at the corresponding positions of the stretching rollers, and their axes are parallel to the stretching rollers. Each nip roller is connected to a cylinder at both ends to fit closely to the corresponding stretching roller. The roller is coated with a high-temperature resistant silicone rubber layer to increase the friction and adaptability of the film, reduce the slippage between the film and the stretching roller, improve the uniformity of the film thickness, and improve the appearance quality of the film.

Corona Roller
Corona Roller
Corona Roller

The corona roller is used as a dielectric during corona treatment. It uses high voltage corona to carry electric charge, generating corona discharge on its surface, causing free radical reaction on the surface of plastic film, thereby increasing the surface tension and adhesion of the film. Our corona rollers are made of imported special silica gel, which has good insulation and high voltage resistance. It has been tested and guaranteed by 200,000 volts of high voltage, and its yellowing resistance and high finish make the surface of the substrate have higher adhesion.

Corona Nip Roller

Corona nip roller is usually used in conjunction with corona roller, mainly used to squeeze out the air between the corona roller and the film, to prevent the back of the film from being treated due to the presence of air between the film and the corona roller, and also to help the film to contact the corona roller more smoothly, ensuring the effect of corona treatment.

Its diameter and length will be designed according to the requirements of the corona roller and the film production line. The surface usually has a certain hardness and elasticity, and some may also use special grooving technology to ensure good exhaust.

Carbon Fiber Tension Roller
Carbon Fiber Tension Roller
Carbon Fiber Tension Roller

The film carbon fiber tension roller is a lightweight, high-strength, high-rigidity roller. Its outer layer is made of a film made of carbon fiber reinforced material, and its inner support structure is made of metal or other materials. At the same time, it also has high strength and high rigidity, is not easy to deform under high-speed operation and high load, can ensure accurate tension control, and is a key component for controlling tension in the film production process.

Currently, it is widely used in film slitting machines, winders, biaxial stretching lines, coating machines and other equipment.

Carbon Fiber Contact Roller

Carbon Fiber Contact Roller

The surface of the carbon fiber contact roller is usually covered with rubber or silicone rubber and annular or spiral grooves. It can increase the surface friction coefficient and prevent the film from slipping during transmission and winding, causing tension fluctuations or position deviations. It is especially suitable for film winding and unwinding processes to ensure that the film fits tightly with the roller surface and avoid problems such as loose rolls and wrinkles during winding.

Mirror Roller

Mirror Roller

By calendering or laminating the film with a high-precision polished mirror roller, surface wrinkles and bumps can be eliminated, making the film smooth like a mirror, meeting the strict requirements of optical film, packaging film, etc. for flatness. The thickness uniformity can also be adjusted during the film extrusion or casting process.

Mirror rollers often have temperature control functions (built-in heating or cooling media), which can simultaneously adjust the film temperature during the calendering process to ensure uniform crystallinity of the material (such as the stretching and shaping process of BOPP film).

Steel Winding Roller
Steel Winding Roller
Steel Winding Roller

During the winding process, the steel winding roller cooperates with the winding contact roller (such as a carbon fiber contact roller) to evenly transfer the tension applied by the equipment to the film, bear the tension and weight of the film during winding, and prevent the roller from deforming or breaking. In addition, the steel winding roller has a high density and a stable moment of inertia. It is not easy to vibrate due to centrifugal force during high-speed winding, ensure that the film is tightly wound and the edges are neat. It is a key carrier connecting production and finished product transportation.

Aluminum Winding Roller

Compared with steel winding roller, aluminum winding roller have lower strength, but through reasonable design and selection of alloy materials, they can also meet general production needs. However, they may not be as good as steel winding rollers when subjected to high tension.

But the density of aluminum winding roller is about one-third of that of steel, and it is light in weight, easy to carry and install, and can reduce the operating load of equipment. In addition, it is easy to form an oxide film on the surface, has good corrosion resistance, and can be used stably in a variety of environments.
